Requirements for Safety in Environmental Services
This series will explain the OSHA standards on bloodborne pathogens and how to comply with the OSHA regulations. The standard was designed to protect workers employed in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, physicians? and dentists? offices, blood banks, plasma centers, occupational health clinics, hospices, urgent care centers, clinical laboratories, and other occupations in which this type of exposure can occur in the workplace, including, but not limited to, mortuaries and funeral services, laundry and linen services, medical equipment repair, emergency responders, correctional facilities, and law enforcement.
