From the Main Menu, users can enter each module for the different body regions. All of the 3D movies can be viewed from the Main Menu or within each module.

Section Map Screens in each module allow you to click on the name of a structure and all the levels that the structure appears at will be highlighted in red. Jump directly to a section by clicking on a number next to the highlighted line.

From the main screen, the user can click the 3D icon to bring up the dissection movies for each body region.

Each imaging modality can be viewed with a click of the mouse. All modalities are registered so that the anatomy can be easily identified while viewing the gross, CT and MRI sections.

In Review Mode you can click on the name of a structure from the list and the corresponding anatomy will be highlighted on-screen, or you can click on an area in the anatomy section and the name of that structure will be highlighted in the list.

Gauge your knowledge in Test Mode. You can have the name of a structure shown to you and you select the anatomical structure on the section, or have the anatomical structure shown to you and you pick the name from the list.

3D peel-away dissections of the cadaver are available for viewing from anywhere in the atlas. These dissections are serial reconstructions using the original 1mm cadaver slice images. The cadaver was only sectioned in the axial plane, however, through computer reconstruction you are able to "reslice" the cadaver in the coronal and sagittal planes in addition to the axial plane. These movies can be advanced and rewound one slice at a time providing exquisite anatomical detail aiding the user in learning the complex spatial interrelationships between different anatomical structures

For the first time, fully registered Gross, CT and MRI images of the same human cadaver can be interactively viewed. All of the anatomy has been identified in full detail, labeled and can be viewed in each imaging modality with a click of the mouse button.

This state-of-the-art interactive human sectional anatomy atlas goes beyond the pages of an ordinary textbook. The registered gross, CT and MRI images allow the user to view the "real" anatomy and then switch to the different common imaging modalities used in medicine to see how the anatomy appears in each modality.
