This video uses interviews with nurses in recovery to provide a compelling look at the internal struggle of addiction and the challenging road to recovery. Nurses and nursing students will be able to take an insightful compassionate look at this problem. Viewers will be albe to:

• Identify reasons nurses become involved with drugs and alcohol
• Discuss the life changes that are necessary in the process of recovery
• Describe how the stigma and denial surrounding chemical dependent can perpetuate the problem
