This video describes the characteristics of nurses who become chemically dependent and discusses the high cost to healthcare facilities of such addiction. Describes attitudees contributing to drug abuse and discuesses the process of chemical dependency in depth, using Hutchinson's model of "trajectory toward self-annihilation". Measures to prevent substance abuse are addressed.
