Off-Label Drug Facts is a NEW loose-leaf publication detailing current off-label drug use not reflected in FDA-approved labeling. It includes information on off-label drug administration in patient populations, indications, doses, dosage forms, and routes of administration. Organized in tabular format, all relevant placebo-controlled and non-controlled trials are summarized, as well as historical cohort studies and case reports for each unlabeled use. Each study presents the indication, design, patient population, dosage and duration, results, safety, and author conclusions.
Off-Label Drug Facts is the first of its kind. A summary of studies including therapeutic considerations is provided for each off-label use. A level-of-evidence therapy rating for each off-label use has been assigned and reviewed by our consensus advisory panel.
The rating system provides the health care professional with an easy-to-use mechanism to determine appropriateness of use. References and suggested reading are included, as well as formulas for medications requiring compounding.
Off-Label Drug Facts is ideal for physicians, malpractice attorneys, drug information centers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmaceutical wholesalers, hospital pharmacists, and managed care facilities.
