In addition, Marine Literature Review sources information from other electronic publications andthe World Wide Web to provide entries detailing the availability of numerical data, related products,data management tools and software. The depth and breadth of coverage that Marine Literature Review offers reflects the truly diverse, interdisciplinary and international nature of the marine sciences. The Marine Literature Review CD-ROM includes the entire contents of our monthly journal Oceanographic Literature Review, plus additional relevant material from Fluid Abstracts: Civil Engineering and Ecological Abstracts. The material is selected and indexed by a team of subject specialists. Original author abstracts are edited for clarity, and where necessary, a summary or abstract is written by our editors. Every record contains a full bibliographic citation and a list of keywords. Over 90% of entries are accompanied by an abstract. Regular discs contain approximately 50,000 records, from 1990-present, and around 1,000 records will be added each year. Updates are cumulative and quarterly - shortly after receipt of each update the old disc will expire. Produced in association with NISC, Marine Literature Review is fully searchable using powerful ROMWRIGHT software.
