The MultiAmp is a variable gain, multi-channel amplifier system for the acquisition of bioelectric signals such as the electroencephalogram (EEG), electromyogram (EMG), electroretinogram (EOG) and electrocardiogram (ECG) within a variety of testing paradigms. It is available in any configuration from 4 to 32 channels. The MultiAmp may have from 4 to 32 electrically isolated, differential amplifier channels in increments of four channels. Each channel has a two-pole high-pass Butterworth filter with internal replaceable component headers for setting the filter characteristics. The MultiAmp has an external gain control on each four channels at 1K, 2K, 5K, 10K,20K, or 50K except for channels 1 and 2 which have individual gain controls. An external 60 Hz notch filter control allows the user to switch the notch filter to an enabled or disabled position.
The high-pass and low-pass filter cut-off frequencies are preset to the customer specifications. The filter setting may be changed by replacing the internal filter component herd located on each four channel amplifier board. The filter component headers are factory tested to meet customer requirement. Digital filter software with user selectable setting is available from several vendors.
The MultiAmp may be configured for unipolar or bipolar inputs. Standard electrode boxes with unipolar and bipolar inputs are available. Custom configurations are available upon request.
We have four models available as follows:

The MultiAmp may be supplied with an output cable that connects the MultiAmp; to the analog-to-digital converter in the recording system. Standard models are available as indicated below:
The MultiAmp attenuator allows the user to check out the amplifiers using a standard function generator. It as a male BNC connector mounted on a housing for a D connector that mates with the amplifier input connector. The attenuator reduces the signal by 20,000 to 1. A check out procedure utilizing the attenuator is provided in the operator’s manual.
